Ben Moody Album: "Can't Regret What You Don't Remember"
Street Date: Fall 2006

For pop-metal priest Ben Moody, Can't Regret What You Can't Remember has been in the making for almost two years. Ever since he left Evanescence in October of 2003, Ben has been writing tracks for his solo CD while working with artists such as Avril Lavigne and Kelly Clarkson on their solo albums.

Can't Regret What You Don't Remember's first single, "Everything Burns," appears on the Fantastic Four soundtrack and is a duet featuring Anastacia. Providing background vocals on the track is ex-Evanescence keyboardist David Hodges, who now fronts the band Trading Yesterday. Moody's album also features the song "10/22," which is a retrospective on the day he left Evanescence.

Moody was joined in the studio by some familiar friends for the making of his album, including Jason Miller of Godhead, who sings lead on a few of the album's tracks.

Overall, Ben Moody's debut album will be a stiring journey depicting his struggle with the inner demons he had to overcome to become who he is today. Can't Regret What You Don't Remember will be released in the spring on WindUp Records.

The Fantastic Four soundtrack is in stores now, and "Everything Burns" has been released to radio.

"Walking through life unnoticed, knowing that no one cares
Too consumed in their masquerade, no one sees her there
And still she sings...

Til everything burns, while everyone screams
Burning their lies, burning my dreams
All of this hate, and all of this pain
I'll burn it all down, as my anger reigns."
